Art on Park show spring-themed work

Spring on Park opens Saturday at downtown Warren’s Art on Park.

This is the second year for the show, which is open to artists of all ages and experiences and is designed as a celebration of nature.

Each artist could submit up to three works, and this year’s event includes mixed media, multi-media, printmaking, fiber arts, mobile art, sculpture and 3D works, works on handmade paper, several varieties of drawings and paintings, and photography.

The show receive submissions from artists in northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania, and most of the work is available for purchase.

Participating artists include: James Hardy, Cassandra Waskin, Courtney Waskin, Joy Cotton, Steve Ehret, Kathryn Infante, Rebecca Bender, George Nelson, James Shuttic, Jacquelyn Bader, Beth Carson, Jessica Matusky, Pete Vouvounas, Jacqueline Vouvounas, Carmen Denno, Malorie Martin, AirC images, Terry Polonsky, Rachel E. Hathhorn, Mark Cappabianco, Susan Griffin, Joe Gergley, Michele Coe, Niki Frenchko, Lola Frenchko, Steven Bunetta, Don Dipiero, Shannon Fee, Sara Rex, Jersee Hogue, Eric Gargano, Elliott G. Lengel, Samandra Lynne, Jeffrey Puccini, Nikki Puccini, Apryle Elizabeth, Sara Lee and Dovey Wuvey.

An opening reception is planned 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Art on Park, 180 N. Park Ave., Warren. Admission is free with light refreshments provided by Lotus Art Center.

The show also will be open for viewing on April 16 and April 22 (Earth Day).
