Trumbull Seniors present ‘Broadway Rhythm’

Trumbull Senior Production Company brings its annual show to Champion High School for two performances this weekend.

This is the 15th year for the group, which is open to people ages 50 and older. Performers have been rehearsing for months in preparation for the show.

This year’s production is called “Broadway Rhythm” and includes jazz and tap dancing, vocals, skits, instrumentalists and Jocko the clown. Musical numbers will include “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” “Big Spender” and “Sing, Sing, Sing” and the debut of Trumbull Senior Production Company’s first band, called Crazy Sox.

Performers are: Johanne Bartholomew, Keith Beck, Shirley Bierce, Jason Burgermyer, Penny Callahan, Beth Chepke, Lupe Cohen, Karen Combs, June Greenawalt, Barb Hurd, Ricky Jeren, Renee Johntony, Claudia Kimes, Janet LaPlante, Susette Liddle, Judy Mackey, Debbie Mechling, Sandra Miles, Elaine Morgan, Becky Nofsinger, Joe Pushcar, Roe Ragozine, Doreen Rodgers, Patti Rodgers, Loris Rolfe, Gene Seifert and Leslie Wilkinson.

“Broadway Rhythm” will be staged at 6 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the high school, 5876 Mahoning Ave., Champion. Tickets are $15 and will be available at the door. For more information, call 330-891-8655.
