DEAR EDITOR:

As a Trumbull County resident, in Tim Ryan’s district, I couldn’t agree more with your comments with the congressman’s nasty “rants.”

The latest one regarding the Jan. 6 incident was downright embarrassing.

However, all you have to understand is the ever-present and complete hatred consistently demonstrated by those like him and in his party, including, but not limited to Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters, AOC and the Squad, even President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The list goes on. They all spew hate and division.

Your editorial is spot on in concluding a “cooperative working spirit will much better address longstanding plights for constituents than any mean-spirited fighting attitude could ever achieve.”

It’s truly wishful thinking, but with the above offenders still in Congress, it may take a while to achieve.
