DEAR EDITOR:

As you may know, the vacancy left by Congressman Bill Johnson has created the need for a special election June 11th for Ohio’s 6th Congressional District.

Ohio’s 6th Congressional District is full of passionate, hardworking patriots who want to see politicians who are able to cut through the nonsense and deliver results. I can think of nobody better to represent them than Republican candidate Michael Rulli, and we do not have a minute to waste.

The Biden agenda is crushing workers, small businesses and Ohio’s vibrant energy industry. Since day one of his administration, it seems he has intentionally done everything in his power to hurt communities like those in eastern Ohio.

Inflation is crushing worker’s wages. Small-business owners have been marred by supply chain and workforce issues. Seniors and the elderly have had to cut back on medication and other essentials so that they can afford to keep up with rising costs. American energy independence has been wholly depleted in pursuit of their Utopian green-energy policies that would see oil, coal and natural gas jobs become a relic of the past.

Currently, Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives are hanging onto a razor-thin majority–the only political safety net America has at the moment to fight back against Joe Biden’s failed policies. On June 11, it is critical that voters in Ohio’s 6th Congressional District send Michael Rulli as a reinforcement who will fight to replace the craziness in Washington with a commonsense and pragmatic approach that prioritizes people, not politicians.

While for the most part, we will have to wait until November to stop Democrats in Washington, Rulli has an opportunity to start working for the people in just a few short months. Every strong Republican, independent and Democrat who is brave enough to recognize the failures of the Biden administration should support him 100%. I can promise that the Ohio Republican Party will be doing our part.

Last month, U.S. Senate candidate Bernie Moreno joined Rulli on the campaign trail in his district. As the Ohio Republican Party Chairman, nothing brings me more joy than seeing two strong candidates working together to fight for Ohio values and get out talking to voters.

Working alongside President Trump when he wins in November, Rulli and Moreno will be critical to implementing an America First agenda that will finally get our country back on track, and that starts with this critical special election.

Please keep reminding your friends and neighbors to get out and vote for Michael Rulli on June 11th, and we look forward to supporting all of our strong Republican candidates in the fall who will tirelessly fight for the hardworking people in eastern Ohio.
