The board:

• Formally recognized the retirements of Anita Brodnan, Cindy Buchenic, Marni Denmeade, Donna Durick, Michele Higgins, George Kinnard, Cheryl Ryan, Cathy Thomas, Kevin Dailey and Brian Garcar.

• Approved the financial report and investments for the month of April.

• Approved the service agreement with Proactive Behavior Services at the rate of $178 per hour.

• Approved the three-year agreement with Carnegie Learning Curriculum in the amount of $73,365.04, which includes textbooks and professional development.

• The LPDC stipend in the amount of $1,000 per year to Diane Wilkos for 2023-24, 2024-25, and 2025-26 school years.

• Approved a request from Meghan Dubos, head cheerleading coach, to take the high school cheerleaders to an overnight summer camp at Ashland University on July 29 to Aug. 1.

• Approved a request from Danny (DJ) Aldish, head boys basketball coach, to take the basketball team to an overnight camp at Penn State Behrend June 19-20.

• Approved doctors, physician assistants, and/or nurse practitioners from Great Lakes Biomedical to conduct the bus driver yearly physicals for the 2026-27 school year.

• Approved On Demand to conduct the bus driver yearly physicals for the 2026-27 school year.

• Hired Samantha George as English/Language Arts teacher at the middle school.

• Approved the following certificated/licensed staff for limited contracts for the 2026-27 school year: Jennifer Barth, Elia Basista, Jackie Boila, Cassandra Bradley, Kelsey Calpin, Kaeleigh Carden, Kate Coppola, Deena Dearborn, Ciera DeCapita, Alexis Dennison, Tyler Drass, Samantha DuBois, Alyssa Halas, Lindsey Keller, Brenna Kline, Anton Kos, Jennifer Kuczek, Molly MacLochlan, Avery Markulin, Molly Martin, Michael Mascola, Jacob McDivitt, Olivia McKenna, William McSuley, Jamie Monico, Jessica Mowery, Victor Norfus, Angela Rapone, Irene Rivera, Lynda Rohan, Noah Silver, Katelyn Sinkovich, Samantha Smith, Jessica Tomko, Megan White, Sophia Yargo and Bonnie Zachar.
