YOUNGSTOWN — HARDY will play the Covelli Centre on Sept. 16.

Winner of the 2022 Academy of Country Music Award for songwriter of the year, HARDY has been getting airplay from country and rock stations with his second album, “the mockingbird & THE CROW.” “Wait in the Truck,” featuring Lainey Wilson, was a top-10 country hit while rock and hard rock stations have been playing “Jack” and the title track.

His Big Loud label debut, “A Rock,” included the chart-topping country hit “One Beer” along with “Give Heaven Some Hell.”

HARDY will spend the summer playing stadium dates with Morgan Wallen, who appeared on HARDY’s songs “He Went to Jared” and “Red.”

Wilson, who won 2022 Country Music Association Awards for female vocalist of the year and new artist of the year, and Dylan Marlowe will open the Youngstown show.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show range from $39.75 to $99.75 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Southwoods Health box office and through Ticketmaster. An online-only presale runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with the password: MERCY.
