Youngstown Executive 408 Toastmasters Club will have an open house Monday at Mahoning County Republican Headquarters, 8381 Market St., Boardman.

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of meeting locations. Guests will hear about the benefits of becoming a better public speaker, an effective leader and the opportunity to ask questions about Toastmasters.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will run from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. After a brief meet-and-greet period, members and guests will enjoy a regular Toastmasters meeting that will include Table Topics (impromptu speeches), prepared speeches and evaluations. Refreshments will be provided.
