Former Youngstown Vindicator reporter Mark Niquette will speak on “An Insider’s Look at Covering Elections” at a Youngstown Press Club event on May 23.

Niquette has worked at Bloomberg News since 2001 and has covered every Democratic and Republican national convention since 2008. He was on the campaign trail with Hillary Clinton in 2016 and covered Donald Trump’s reelection campaign in 2020. Topics for the conversation with Niquette will include current and future trends that are transforming political campaigns.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m. at V2 Wine Bar and Trattoria, 100 W. Federal St., Youngstown. Admission is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers. The registration deadline is May 19 at youngstownpressclub.com.
