You can run. You can walk. Or you can just eat.

Sign up is underway for the Taste of Youngstown 4.0 and 0.0, which is scheduled June 14 in downtown Youngstown.

The event is the principal fundraiser for the Youngstown Half Marathon, established in 2017.

A 4K run / walk starts at 6 p.m. starting and ending at Penguin City Brewery, 460 E. Federal St., Youngstown.

Taste of Youngstown starts at 7 p.m. with a lineup of Mahoning Valley delicacies, including Penguin City beer, Briar Hill pizza from Pizza Joe’s, Pierogies from Lena’s Pierogi House, Wedding Soup from Love Soup, Italian greens and beans from Jimmy’s Italian Specialities, pasta and Sunday gravy from Gia Russa’s, sausage from DiRusso’s Sausage, monkey salad from Antone’s, wings and wraps from Wing Stop, blueberry donuts from White House Fruit Farm and a local cookie table.

Registration – which includes food, drinks, a limited edition beer glass and entertainment – is $40 for runners / walkers, $35 for non-race participants and $25 for children ages 12 and younger (includes run and food), and the deadline is June 11.
