Picasso tickets on sale in April at CMA

Tickets will be available starting in April for “Picasso and Paper” for its only North American visit at the Cleveland Museum of Art.

The show, organized by the CMA and the Royal Academy of Arts in London in collaboration with the Musee National Picasso in Paris, looks at Pablo Picasso’s lifelong engagement with paper and will feature more than 300 works spanning his entire career.

The exhibition highlights Picasso’s desire to manipulate diverse materials and includes collages of cut-and-pasted papers, sculptures from pieces of torn and burnt paper, documentary photographs and manipulated photographs on paper and an array of printmaking techniques.

“Picasso and Paper” will be on display May 24 to Aug. 23 at the Cleveland Museum of Art, 11150 East Blvd.

Museum members will have the first opportunity to reserve free exhibition tickets starting at 9 a.m. April 20. Membership information is available online at cma.org/members and by calling 216-421-7350.

Tickets will be available to the general public starting at 9 a.m. April 22. Timed-entry tickets will be $20 for adults; $15 for senior citizens and groups; $10 for college students, children ages 6 to 17 and member guests; and free for children 5 and younger.

Tickets will be available online at cma.org/exhibitions and by calling 216-421-7350.
