William and Emily DeToro of Poland, will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Oct. 11, 2019.

The couple were united in marriage Oct. 11, 1969, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Youngstown.

They have three children: William (Christine) DeToro, Andrea (Rob) Rupeka and Lindsay DeToro as well as four grandchildren, all residing in Poland.

Mrs. DeToro is active in Garden Club and volunteers with Easter Seals events. Mr. DeToro is still involved with the family business he started almost 30 years ago, Anatomical Concepts Inc., which is located in Poland.

They belong to Holy Family Parish in Poland.

They enjoy spending their winters (after the holidays) at their house in Florida and in the summer they have a house in Madison On The Lake. They also enjoy spending time with their grandchildren, family and friends.
