Mr. and Mrs. Michael Schuler of Boardman are announcing the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sophia Schuler, to Thomas Vermilion, son of Dr. Daniel Vermilion and Dr. Laura Davies, of San Francisco.
The couple met while earning their bachelor’s degrees at Case Western Reserve University.
The bride-elect is employed as an intensive care unit nurse at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and will begin her alma mater’s nurse anesthesia program this summer.
Mr. Vermilion also holds a master’s degree from Case Western Reserve and is employed as a systems engineer for RoviSys.
The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony this summer at St. Luke Catholic Church of Lakewood. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony. An evening reception will be held at the Tudor Arms Hotel in Cleveland.
