We’re all going bankrupt with Trump

DEAR EDITOR: At the current pace of S+P 500 losses of -6.7% (MINUS 6.7%) in a mere 50 days, President Donald Trump is on pace to make the average American’s retirement fund worthless in only two years. Call it Trump’s seventh bankruptcy, but this time we’re all along for the crash. The S+P 500 is now down 6.7% since Trump took office. So a fund tied to the S+P 500 that was worth $100,000 on Jan. 20 is now worth $93,300. It’s cost $6,700 (so far) to “own the libs”. Are we “winning” yet? BILL ADAMS Austintown

DEAR EDITOR: I can’t stop thinking about politics, and truly there is a lot to think about. I can’t recall, and believe me I’ve tried, to think about how much, if any, positivity Donald Trump has generated, not just in the first month of his second term but even in his first. Michael Rulli’s Canfield office on Feb. 21 to voice our concerns and seek answers from our elected representative or his staff.
