DEAR EDITOR: Regarding the “Onion” Letters to the Editor about the hiring of Dr. Ron Sahu as an expert witness for the appeal the city of Youngstown filed with the Ohio EPA. The opinion no matter how well intended, shows a lack of understanding of how serious this issue is and the needed expertise to fight for the rights of all people, including Youngstown residents to have to clean air, clean water and safe communities to live in. DEAR EDITOR: I am writing about the deportation of more than 200 Venezuelans to a harsh prison in El Salvador. They have been “disappeared.” Their names are not published. We are paying $6 million a year to house them there. The Trump administration alleges that they are members of a Venezuelan gang, but they had no opportunity to defend themselves against this charge. DEAR EDITOR: The Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force has been busy raiding and shutting down illegal “explicit” service spas and foot spas. Some of which have been raided on more than one occasion.
