DEAR EDITOR:

I want to take a moment to extend my sincere appreciation and gratitude for the support Trumbull Regional Medical Center has been receiving from the community.

It is evident how important this hospital is by the outpouring of support from residents, patients, physicians, elected officials and more. Trumbull Regional has been serving the health care needs of the community and providing an array of comprehensive health care services for over 115 years and our team fully intends to continue to do so. There are no plans to close the hospital.

It is imperative that patients in the community have ample access and a choice when it comes to their health care needs. Trumbull Regional Medical Center remains deeply committed and rooted in this community. We will continue to provide the high-quality, compassionate care that patients have come to know and expect from us.

Our team will continue to work hard to exceed our patients’ expectations and continue to achieve quality accolades, many of which, we are the only facility in the area to accomplish.

I want to reassure the community that they can rely on us in their most vulnerable moments and times of need.

We will be here for you and your families, just like you’ve been here for us. We look
