Ohio high court: It’s none of your business

DEAR EDITOR:

How do you just tell the Ohio Supreme Court “it’s none of your business?” How do you think you can just tell the justices they are going to sit this one out?

The GOP legislators in Columbus are trying to do just that with the introduction of House Bill 371, which would take all power from the court in guiding how the Reproductive Rights Act, now part of the Ohio Constitution, is enacted into the lives of Ohioans and giving us access to reproductive healthcare.

Introduced by state Reps. Bill Dean (R- 71) and Jennifer Gross (R-45), HB 371 is absolutely denying the will of the majority of Ohioans who spoke loud and clear in the Nov. 7 election.

Even though each legislator took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the State of Ohio, they are once again arrogantly disrespecting our Constitution and the rule of law.

Time for the GOP to be voted out of Columbus.
