More pressing issues exist in Liberty
DEAR EDITOR:
I am writing in response to a story that published in the Sept. 23 newspaper regarding beautifying Liberty Township.
Liberty Trustee Arnie Clebone was pictured near Interstate 80 at flag and flower beds, which were planted by Liberty in Bloom. They have been maintained by the organization for years.
It costs the township absolutely nothing. It is paid for by donations and a group of dedicated volunteers.
As Mr. Clebone has never been involved in the project, never planted a flower nor turned one shovel of dirt, if it is that distasteful to him and Mr. Barkett, instead of a photo op, they should have cut them down.
There are more pressing problems that need addressed.
