DEAR EDITOR:

This letter is written to repudiate some recent comments in a Letter to the Editor. I stated previously that every person is guaranteed to a defense attorney. Seems the respondent to my original letter didn’t read my entire letter. While Lynn Maro is entitled to be a defense lawyer, I like my prosecutor in office to successfully try and convict criminals. Gina DeGenova’s career has been devoted to prosecuting criminals and developing new programs for victims of crime in Mahoning County.

Also, I will again address that I prefer the people of Mahoning County support and elect the best Mahoning County Prosecutor. I do not appreciate money bags coming to Mahoning County in order to have someone step into office. Outsiders are entitled to make donations, but I resent big corporate donors from outside the county.
