YSU Jazz Ensembles to perform Monday
The Youngstown State University Jazz Ensembles will perform 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Kilcawley Center’s Chestnut Room.
Kent Engelhardt’s ensemble will feature the saxophone section on Thad Jones’ “Tiptoe” and the trombone section on Rayburn Wright’s “Sackbut City,” as well as jazz vocalist Rosie Bresson of Canfield singing arrangements recorded by Ella Fitzgerald. Dave Kana’s ensemble will feature the saxophone section on Cole Porter’s “Easy To Love” and jazz vocalist Kate Landry of Poland. The concert is free and open to the public.
