Police activity reported Jan. 30-Feb. 2:

Feb. 2 — Mutual aid was provided at 7055 Herbert Road in the arrest of Brian Niznik, 51, 227 East Wilson St., Struthers, who was under an undisclosed warrant out of Struthers.

Feb. 1 — A 17-year-old Youngstown boy was arrested on an undisclosed Boardman warrant while at MCCTC, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

A report was taken regarding a vehicle fire in the parking lot at MCCTC, 7300 N. Palmyra Road, that was extinguished by a student in the Fire Academy.

Kathryn Husak, 45, 4035 Bob-O-Link Drive, Boardman, was arrested for theft and tampering with records following an investigation in the 500 block of East Main Street related to a Dec. 19 property report.

Jan. 30 — Officers provided assistance to the Cardinal Joint Fire District on a medical call in the 400 block of Brookpark Drive.

Benjamin Phillips Jr., 27, 410 Elruth Court, Girard, was arrested on a Girard warrant for failure to appear and was issued a summons for driving while under suspension, following a traffic stop on Lisbon Street.
