Girard police activity reported April 3-15:

April 15, 4:09 a.m. — Police assisted a resident needing help at 340 E. Kline St. The resident was taken to the hospital.

April 14, 10:44 p.m. — Two Jeeps were reported on private property at 1170 N. State St. Engines could be heard on the railroad property behind the Yellowstone Manufacturing parking lot.

April 13, 7:44 p.m. — A dirt bike and a vehicle were racing on Morris Avenue at State Street.

April 10, 8:56 p.m. — Man reported being bit by a dog in the arm at 703 Trumbull Ave.

2:32 a.m. — Suspicious person reported at 61 Morris Ave. after a resident believed there was a prowler.

April 9, 3:40 p.m. — Police assisted a resident at 210 Elruth Court after a woman reported another resident was deceased in an apartment.

2:27 p.m. — Dog bite reported in the 200 block of East Second Street after he and his dog were attacked by another dog that ran off a porch.

April 8, 9:57 pm. — People were going through the trash and scattering it around at 112 S Market St.

12:30 a.m. — Emergency medical assistance was provided to a resident who was found on the floor at 504 Park Ave.

April 7, 6:02 pm. — Unwanted person reported at 64 Hartzell St. after a man told police someone was urinating on vehicles.

6:51 p.m. — An older man with dementia with a knife reported at 157 Trumbull Ave. The man was transported to the hospital.

3:57 pm. — Dog bite reported at 206 E. Second St. after a 10-year old boy was bit by a dog.

2:33 a.m. — Man chasing another man with a baseball bat reported at 35 E. Wilson Avenue.

2:50 a.m. — Unwanted person reported at 133 E. Prospect St after a man refused to leave.

April 6, 8:51 p.m. — Woman reported a man was trying to get into a house at 127 E. Kline St. When the police arrived, the man left.

6:48 p.m. — A juvenile girl with bruises on her body reported on North Market Street. Trumbull County Children Services was called.

April 5, 10:59 p.m. — Juvenile girl reported being harassed and filed a complaint at the police department.

2:42 a.m. — Two people reported arguing at a laundromat at 100 N. Market St.

April 4, 4:28 p.m. — A Hopewell Drive resident reported unknown transactions were made at the bank.

April 3, 12:29 p.m. — Single-vehicle accident with injuries reported at Liberty Park Apartments off Elruth Court.
