McDonald police activity reported April 8-29:

April 29, 7:38 p.m. — Crash investigation involving two vehicles at Ohio Avenue and Seventh Street.

2:19 p.m. — Suspicious man reported walking in the area of Hayes Avenue. The man, who appeared confused, was taken by police to the Mahoning Valley Rescue Mission.

April 28, 1:34 a.m. — Unresponsive man reported in the 400 block of Third Street.

April 27, 10:33 p.m. — Dirt bikes reported racing up and down McKinley and Fifth avenues. They fled to Girard.

April 26, 4:01 a.m. — Door found unlocked at Love Soup on Ohio Avenue. No one was found inside the building.

April 25, 3:18 a.m. — Crash investigation with injuries reported in the 600 block of East Marshall Road.

April 23, 2:08 p.m. — Violation of a protection order reported at 1133 Illinois Ave.

April 22, 1:12 pm. — Scam reported at 451 Ohio Ave. after a resident reported a caller asked about getting a $198 payment from the bank.

April 19, 12:48 p.m. — Endangering children reported on Ohio Avenue after a driver failed to stop at a red light and had a child in the car.

12:08 p.m. — Accident with injuries reported in the 400 block of Iowa Avenue.

April 17, 8:02 pm. — Suspicious activity reported on Sixth and Iowa avenues after a girl on a bike reported a man in a truck approached her and made a vulgar comment.

4:48 p.m. — Cellphone reported missing at the ballfields off Park Avenue.

April 16, 7:12 p.m. — Suspicious activity reported at 89 W. Marshall Road after a person believed to be intoxicated was found in the yard.

April 11, 5:38 p.m. — Officers checked on the welfare of a resident at 1019 Pennsylvania Ave. after neighbors reported not seeing the resident for days.

April 10, 6:08 p.m. — Dog running loose reported at 1106 Ohio Ave. The small dog could not be caught.

11:20 a.m. — A resident reported two juvenile girls were hiding in a wooded area near Woodland Park off Park Avenue. Police contacted the elementary school.

April 9, 8:45 p.m. — Crash reported in the 400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. One driver fled the scene.

April 8, 11:45 a.m. — A resident reported someone hacked into a computer trying to scam the resident at 837 Oregon Ave.

10:24 a.m. – Breaking and entering reported at 522 Illinois Ave. after welding material and other property was missing from a garage.
