Staff writer LIBERTY — Liberty police told a man to contact them again if he receives any further messages from a suspect who threatened him and his girlfriend’s family over a messaging app Wednesday evening. AUSTINTOWN — Austintown police are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday night. A news release issued by the department on Wednesday states that officers responded to the 4100 block of Mahoning Avenue about 12:30 a.m. after someone reported a male had been shot.
