LIBERTY -- Liberty police told a man to contact them again if he receives any further messages from a suspect who threatened him and his girlfriend's family over a messaging app Wednesday evening.
According to a police report, officers were called to a Logan Way residence in reference to telephone harassment.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a man who said he was livestreaming Call of Duty when he received Snapchat messages making threats of harm -- adding that the person had his location and sent it to him, and he had to be hacked because he keeps his location off.
The man told the officer that he received a message saying, "I will murder you. Murder your girlfriend, her mother and her sister," adding that a short time later, he saw a black Chevrolet truck pull into the apartment complex, and a male wearing a ski mask, black shirt, white jogging pants and gloves stepped out of the vehicle with a pistol, the report states.
The man said he expressed his refusal to leave the apartment, and the masked man left.
The report states the man could not recall which way the truck went, adding that there are no video cameras in the parking lot, but the truck had a few dents.
