Staff report WARREN — A Youngstown man pleaded guilty and was sentenced Tuesday to two years in prison for leading Liberty police on a chase in a stolen vehicle Dec. 29, 2025. Leighland D. Johnson, 41, of Dupont Street, entered his guilty plea to charges of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer and felony vandalism before Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Sarah T. Man reports being robbed by ex-girlfriend and four men

Staff report YOUNGSTOWN — A man reported that his ex-girlfriend and four men with guns robbed him of cash Tuesday morning at Oak Hill Avenue and Cleveland Street on the South Side while he was in his car. The victim said he was in his car when the woman pulled up to him in a red Jeep Commander with four unknown males with guns. The incident happened at 10:45 a.m. They took $60 in cash, his wallet and bank cards and left the area, the report states. Officers searched the area but did not locate the Jeep.
