WHAT: County commissioners meeting Wednesday

Commissioners:
• Awarded Boak & Sons Inc., a $209,659 bid for the Girard Multi-Generational Center roof replacement project. The project is part of the 2021 Trumbull Community Development Block Grant allocation program;
• Approved an increase of $26,321 for four ice-truck packages and $9,651 for a snow and ice truck with blackbelt from Henderson Products, for a total increase of $35,972;
• Set a public hearing for the 2022 Trumbull County Community Development Block Grant for 6:30 p.m. June 1 at the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities. The county is required to hold a public hearing before making an application to the CBDG Residential Infrastructure Program;
• Transferred Jason Wells from the position of sewer line maintenance crew assistant to TV inspector and grouting assistant technician at $14.96 per hour;
• Granted right-of-way permits to Charles Schwed to install 30 feet of 15-inch HDPE conduit for a driveway access about 1,165 feet south of Mahan Denman Road in Bristol and to Zayo Group to work on the East Liberty Street bridge in Girard to attach 200 linear feet of 6-inch FRE conduit and a fiber-optic cable to the bridge parapet;
• Granted a special annual supplier fleet permit to JGF Trucking and a special hauling permit for DeMase Trucking to haul overweight equipment over a road in Weathersfield Township.
