YOUNGSTOWN — An aggravated murder trial scheduled to begin July 20 was rescheduled for Oct. 19, according to Mahoning County Common Pleas Court records.

Lavontae Knight, 24, is facing charges of aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and having weapons under disability in connection to the Oct. 25, 2018, shooting death of Josh Donatelli, 26, on Imperial Street.

In a separate case, Knight faces charges of aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, kidnapping, feloinious assault and having weapons under disability in connection to the Dec. 30, 2018, shooting death of Trevice Harris, 37.

Both trials have been delayed several times. A trial date for the Harris murder case has not yet been scheduled, according to court records.
