Youngstown woman being held in jail without bond

YOUNGSTOWN — Katrina Layton, 37, who last week pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence, obstructing justice and abuse of a corpse in the Shannon Graves murder and dismemberment case is being held in the Mahoning County Justice Center without eligibility to make bond until her sentencing date.

The plea agreement she reached with a special prosecutor calls for her getting as much as 20 years in prison when she is sentenced Jan. 29. Her earlier plea was revoked after prosecutors alleged she failed to live up to the terms of her plea agreement.
