YOUNGSTOWN — An Amber Alert was issued early today for a missing 1-year-old girl taken from her West Side home at 52 Moherman Ave. Police say she was taken by her biological father, Kahlil Sheridan, 23, who is believed to be driving a 2008 blue Volvo S60.

The girl, Nova Sheridan, is 2 feet tall and 35 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, and wearing a diaper.

Kahlil Sheridan is 6-foot-2 with black hair and brown eyes and weighs about 210 pounds.

The child was last seen at 11:20 p.m. Thursday.
