OH WOW! turns 13 tomorrow

OH WOW! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology will celebrate its 13th anniversary Saturday with a Birthday Bash from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will feature special activities throughout the day, including STEM SAK projects in Function Junction until 1:30 p.m., Garage Band on the iPad, giant Operation and Jenga games in the InspireWorks space and a Blackout Dance Party from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be hands-on EDUtainment and STEM activities, free cake, snacks and more.

Since it opened, OH WOW! has attracted nearly 1 million visitors to its STEM-based, hands-on, interactive exhibits and programs designed to be both educational and entertaining.

Admission is $10 for adults and children ages 2 to 14 and $9 for senior citizens, educators and military/veterans. For more information, go to ohwowkids.org.
