Gov. Mike DeWine has just announced that Ohio’s eateries and bars will be closed at 9 tonight, for an indefinite time.

Carryout and delivery will be allowed.

The governor said the goal is containment of coronavirus. “Our goal is for everyone to get through this. Our wish is that next St. Patrick’s Day, everyone will be there.”

DeWine said he recognizes the impact on businesses but the more delay, “the more people will die.”

Groups have to be broken up and people have to be distanced or Ohio’s health care system “will not hold up.”
