Rodia returns for Powers show

YOUNGSTOWN — Comedian Anthony Rodia returns to the Mahoning Valley for a Sept. 21 show at Youngstown’s Powers Auditorium.

Rodia performed last year at Stambaugh Auditorium. A first-generation Italian-American born and raised in Westchester, N.Y., Rodia quit his day job as a finance manager for a luxury car dealership in 2019 to focus full time on being a standup comedian.

Through his videos, many of which are inspired by his Italian relatives, Rodia has built a following of more than a million followers across various social media platforms, and his videos have more than 22 million views on his YouTube channel. His standup comedy special will debut May 1 on Amazon’s Prime Video.

Tickets for his 8 p.m. show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the DeYor Performing Arts Center box office, online at experienceyourarts.org and by calling 330-259-2951
