Kent-Trumbull Theatre returns to ‘Margaritaville’
CHAMPION — Kent State University at Trumbull Theatre is bringing back its production of the musical “Escape to Margaritaville” for two performances.
The musical, which was staged on campus last fall, is built around the songs of Jimmy Buffett with a book by Greg Garcia and Mike O’Malley.
It will be staged at 8 p.m. June 1 and 2 p.m. June 2 at the Robins Theatre. Tickets are $20 and $15, plus fees, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
