‘Bonnie and Claire’ on stage

Black Sheep Players of the Shenango Valley will stage the comedy-drama “Bonnie and Claire” this weekend.

Bo Wilson’s play tells the story of two estranged sisters now living together 45 years after Claire left home as a teenager to pursue an acting career while leaving Bonnie behind to take care of their parents. With the assistance of their niece, the sisters try to reconcile their differences while dealing with their own aging issues

Maria Petrella-Ackley directs a cast that includes Kathy Williams, Susan Woge and Miranda Woge.

“Bonnie and Claire” will be staged 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 600 E. State St., Sharon, Pa. Tickets are $15 (with Random Acts of Artists members admitted for $13) and are available online at blacksheep.booktix.net.
