Award-winning pianist Victor Radko-Shlyakhtenko will play a free concert at noon Wednesday at the Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave., Youngstown.

The California native won first prize in the 2018 Los Angeles International Liszt Competition, which led to his European debut at the Leipzig Gewandhaus. He finished second in the 2018 Waring International Competition, and he made his orchestral debut at age 12. He currently is a piano performance major at Oberlin College.

The program will include works by Johannes Brahms, Cesar Franck and Samuel Barber.
