Westminster College School of Music faculty members Tim Winfield, trumpet, and Nancy DeSalvo, piano, will play a recital in conjunction with the release of their album “Landscapes and Shorts.”

The album features four world-premiere recordings of commissioned compositions, including one written by Daniel Perttu, associate professor of music theory and composition at Westminster College. It was recorded in Westminster’s Orr Auditorium during the summers of 2017 and 2018.

The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 24 in the Wallace Memorial Chapel on Westminster College’s campus in New Wilmington, Pa. Admission is free. For more information on the recital or purchasing the album, contact Winfield at winfietd@westminster.edu or 724-946-7274.
