The engagement and approaching marriage of Alexandria Moffo and Aaron Banko are being announced by the bride-elect’s parents, John and Lori Moffo of Boardman.

Parents of the groom-elect are Alan and Pattie Banko of North Canton.

Miss Moffo graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walsh University, where she is pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a registered nurse on heart and lungs ICU at Summa Health System in Akron.

Mr. Banko also graduated from Walsh University with a Bachelor of Arts in marketing. He is a senior marketing automation specialist at Leaf Home Solutions in Hudson.

The couple will be united in marriage during an open wedding ceremony to be held 1:30 p.m. Aug. 1, 2020, at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Boardman.

For the safety of friends and family, invitations are being issued for a postponed reception to be held Aug. 14, 2021.
