Mary Carchedi and Michael Hardie were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Oct. 30, 2021, at Holy Family Church in Poland. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Matthew Humerickhouse.

An evening reception was held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Youngstown.

The parents of the bride are Theodore and Mary Jo Carchedi. Michael and Colleen Hardie are the parents of the groom.

Ashley Carchedi was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Tatum Marucci, Serena Lamping, Nicolette Ornelas and Krystle Kalafut. The flower girl was Sophia Isaacs.

Sharing the duties of best man were brother of the groom Brendan Hardie and Michael Hawkins. Groomsmen were Kevin Hardie, Andrew Peters, Devin Joss and Alex Carchedi.

The new Mrs. Hardie graduated from Youngstown State University and earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing. She is employed as a family nurse practitioner at Advanced Urology Inc.

Mr. Hardie also graduated from YSU, where he received a degree in information technology. As an apprentice to become a journeyman, is employed at “Joe” Dickey Electric.

Following a trip to Niagara Falls, the couple resides in Poland and plan to honeymoon later in the year.
