YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown State men’s basketball announced on Monday a nine-game 2021-22 non-league schedule that includes opponents from the Big Ten, Big 12 and Mid-American conferences, as well as six home games at the Beeghly Center.

The Penguins open the campaign at Big Ten member Penn State on Nov. 10 before visiting Southeast Missouri State of the Ohio Valley Conference on Nov. 13.

Youngstown State plays four straight games at the Beeghly Center between Nov. 19-24. The Penguins host a multiple-team event Nov. 19-21, against St. Thomas (Minn.), Niagara and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, and welcome Westminster to the Dom Rosselli Court on Nov. 24.

The Penguins also host Central Michigan on Dec. 8 and Canisius on Dec. 10 before closing out the non-conference slate at Big 12 member West Virginia on Dec. 22.

The Horizon League portion of the schedule will be released by the league at a later date.
