He is a national disaster and has taken us from status as a world-class country to nothing more than a laughingstock to the rest of the world. Our allies have been lost. DEAR EDITOR: The aggrieved neighbors on Truesdale Road, in regard to the abandoned house at 727 Truesdale, want to thank Boardman Township and the Board of Trustees for their concern surrounding the many issues presented at the April 6 township board meeting. The trustees are being responsive and empathetic to the situation. They are taking action to clean up the grounds and repair the hole in the roof. Although this is a welcome first step, it does not fully solve the underlying issue of an abandoned, blighted house that appears to be uninhabitable and remains an eyesore. We ...

DEAR EDITOR: Remember the COVID-19 pandemic? Remember how frightened the ENTIRE world was in March of 2020? Our Republican Gov. Mike DeWine had already chosen Dr. Amy Acton to head the health department. He trusted her and together they got us through those uncertain days. However, once things settled, many of us no longer felt the fear or the need to salute the medical workers, teachers, truck drivers or cared to wear masks. Life went on, thankfully, for many of us.
