DEAR EDITOR: The total lack of empathy shown by 47 as he turned a sympathy message to families of 67 people grieving loved ones lost in the DC air crash into a MAGA rant against DEI is one of the more disgusting recent examples of his narcissistic character. Angered by a press question as to how he could conflate the crash with DEI, he snapped “I have common sense, OK”. DEAR EDITOR: Education is the key to all doors of opportunities, and forms the map to guide us through the maze of roads in our lives. DEAR EDITOR: As a veteran I must speak out against oligarchy, totalitarianism, tyranny, megalomania, insanity, and yes the cowards in my former political party. DEAR EDITOR: I will never understand how DEI has become the new right boogeyman. DEI initiatives simply try to bring more voices to the table, to enfranchise the disenfranchised and to include those that have been previously oppressed. But seemingly none of that matters. Nepotism continues to happen in Youngstown

DEAR EDITOR: So Tito Brown hired his daughter-in-law for a city position. Is anyone surprised? I took a written civil service test in 2018 for the Youngstown Water Department collections supervisor position. I finished first on the test, I have been a lifelong resident of Youngstown and I hold a degree from YSU. To this day, I still have those test results.
