DEAR EDITOR: 47 and JD flailed and failed to bully a brave man seeking help for his beleaguered country in our Oval Office. The scripted attack by two bogus “tough guys” disgusted and embarrassed most Americans on Feb. 28. The big talking point in the Trump campaign was the economy. We are seeing cracks in the economy starting with Trump as the big reason. Layoffs increasing, hiring slow, consumer confidence eroding and inflation picking up. It is Trump’s uncertain economic policy that is leading the way. Social Security may disappear one day

DEAR EDITOR: Will someone please explain how Social Security works? It is not a federal agenda; it is funded by people working, paying their dues. Each generation collects from the last generation. With so many people retiring early — therefore not contributing anymore — of course the funds are dying out. The new generations do not know the concept of Social Security.
