Karen L. Ray 1960-2021

She was born June 11, 1960, in Youngstown, the daughter of Michael V. Ray and the late Lois Weimer Ray.

Karen was a graduate of Liberty High School and formerly worked for Inner Circle Pizza and Kohl’s Department Store.

She is survived by her father, Michael V. (Ruthann Blue) Ray of Girard; sister, Allison (Darren) Yankovsky of Buckeye, Ariz.; brother, Kevin (Margaret) Ray of Canfield; nieces and nephews, Andrew (Amanda) Fonce, Garrett Fonce, Brianne (Dan) Clipse, Cody Ray and Lindsey (Sean) Petiya; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Camden Fonce, McKinley Fonce, Alexia Clipse and Adam Petiya.

Besides her mother, Karen was preceded in death by a brother, Greg Ray.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Karen’s name to Huntington’s Disease Society of America, 505 Eighth Ave., Suite 902, New York, NY 10018.
