Marilyn A. Evanoff 1950-2019

Marilyn was born Jan. 21, 1950, in Youngstown, a daughter of John Stephen and Magdalena Hill Evanoff, and was a lifelong member of the community.

She was a neonatal intensive care nurse sharing her talents among Northside Medical Center, Tod Children’s Hospital, Beeghly and retired from Mother and Babies Unit at Northside Medical Center in 2013, after more than 43 years of dedicated service.

Marilyn was a 1968 graduate of Liberty High School, and a graduate of the nursing program at Youngstown State University. Marilyn was a member of St. Edward Church, enjoyed cooking, her Siamese cat, traveling and most of all, her family.

She leaves cherish her memories to her brothers, John (Nancy) Evanoff of Wadsworth and Paul (Carla) Evanoff of Youngstown; sisters, Karen Evanoff and Frances Evanoff, both of Youngstown; her uncle, Fred (Marion) Hill; and a niece and nephew.

A Mass of Christian burial will be noon Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at St. Edward Church, where the family will receive relatives and friends 10 to 11:45 a.m. Friday.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 4531 Belmont Ave., Unit 7, Youngstown, Ohio 44505.
