Fayette J. King 1932-2019

Mr. King was born April 23, 1932, in Youngstown, a son of Fate J. King and Emma J. Cheatham.

He was a graduate of East High School and a labor worker for Youngstown Sheet and Tube. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Apostolic Faith Temple, where he was a former deacon.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Geneva Hall and Dorothy Berry; a devoted friend, Walter Winkfield; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, the former Margaret Copeland; a stepson; and two sisters, Marnine Betts and Susie Harris.

The family will like to give a special thanks to Michael and Wilena Scott and the nurses and staff at Ohio Living Park Vista.

A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2019, at Apostolic Faith Temple. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday Oct. 17, 2019, at F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home Inc. and noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the church.

Interment will be in Tod Homestead Cemetery.
