AUSTINTOWN — Following the resignation of Trustee Robert Santos, Austintown trustees are accepting letters of interest from residents for his remaining term.

Those interested in serving should submit a letter of interest explaining their qualifications, including business or management experience, community involvement, availability to attend meetings and future aspirations.

Letters of interest should be addressed to: The Board of Austintown Township Trustees, 82 Ohltown Road, Austintown, OH 44515.

Because of the ongoing storm recovery, in person letters of interest will not be accepted. Letters of interest must be received by mail only on or before July 16.

Those expressing their interest by telephone or e-mail will not be considered. Trustees anticipate that an appointment will be made at the next trustees meeting Aug. 3.
