Heritage Manor unveils expansion
YOUNGSTOWN — Heritage Manor Rehabilitation and Retirement Community, 517 Gypsy Lane, has opened its second phase of expansion — part of the continuum of care offered through Senior Living by Youngstown Area Jewish Federation.
A three-phase expansion project, the Schwebel Family Foundation Wing, was launched in May 2021. Many donations made the Heritage Manor Rehabilitation and Retirement Community expansion possible. To date, $1,253,835.33 has been raised.
Phase One added 12 private rooms, each with their own restroom. Until that point, the 72-bed facility had 58 private rooms and seven semi-private rooms. It now has 66 private rooms.
Phase Two added a therapy gym, rehabilitation solarium, veterans courtyard, mock apartment and therapy office.
When Phase Three is complete, all rooms will be private with their own bathrooms.
