Man indicted in shooting of girlfriend in Dec.
YOUNGSTOWN — Damon L. Jefferson, 27, Rush Boulevard, was indicted Thursday on charges of felonious assault with a gun specification and being a felon in possession of a firearm in a Dec. 1 incident in which he is accused of shooting his girlfriend in a home in the 2900 block of Rush Boulevard.
The woman, 23, was in critical condition at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after the 2:15 a.m. shooting. The woman was found outside of the South Side home.

• Devon D. Moreland, 32, Mahoning County jail, cocaine possession with a specification of forfeiture of money in a drug case;
• Dion L. Artis, 31, West Judson Avenue, cocaine possession with a specification of forfeiture of money in a drug case;
• Raymond D. Sykes, 33, Mahoning County jail, domestic violence;
• Anthony S. Crone, 28, Peggy Lane, Mineral Ridge, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, carrying a concealed weapon, aggravated drug possession and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia;
• Jedediah M. Thomas, 44, Overland Avenue, burglary and theft from a person in a protected class.
• Jennifer M. Hall, 35, Elm Street, Struthers, felonious assault, aggravated menacing and criminal damaging or endangering;
• Morris Perry, 23, Mahoning County jail, being a felon in possession of a firearm, improperly handing firearms in a motor vehicle, aggravated drug possession with a specification of forfeiture of money in a drug case and falsification;
• Antonio Barnes, 34, Hazelwood Avenue, being a felon in possession of a firearm, improperly handing firearms in a motor vehicle and obstructing official business;
• Troy C. Adkins, 25, Mahoning County jail, tampering with evidence, two counts of aggravated drug possession and one count of drug possession;
• Febres L. Navarro, 40, Mahoning County jail, failure to comply with the order of a police officer, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and failure to stop after an accident;
• Damiyan R. Jackson, 20, Alameda Avenue, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and carrying a concealed weapon;
• Josiah C. Wilburn, 21, Mahoning County jail, improperly handing firearms in a motor vehicle;
• Davion A. Mahone, 19, Mahoning County jail, improperly handing firearms in a motor vehicle;
• Amanda M. Brenner, 34, Smithfield Street, New Castle, Pa., aggravated drug possession and drug possession;
• Kyle A. Ellison, 20, Shadyside Drive, Boardman, being a felon in possession of a firearm and improperly handing firearms in a motor vehicl;
• Savaughn S. Moore, 18, West Auburndale Avenue, obstructing official business;
• Romellow M. McKnight, 26, Mahoning County jail, failure to comply with the order of a police officer with a gun specification, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, and obstructing official business;
