32-year-old pleads guilty in rape case
YOUNGSTOWN — Darnell J. Williams, 32, pleaded guilty to a rape charge Wednesday for victimizing a girl just four days shy of her 12th birthday.
Williams was sentenced to 10 years to life in prison by Mahoning County Common Pleas Judge R. Scott Krichbaum.
Also charged in the case is Emma Wymer, 40, of South Avenue, who pleaded guilty to one count of felony child endangering. Her sentencing is set for 1:30 p.m. March 2. If convicted, she could get about eight years in prison.
The offenses took place in September 2021.
