WEATHERSFIELD — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the death of a McDonald man killed in a late Saturday night all-terrain vehicle crash.

The patrol and safety crews from McDonald and Weathersfield were called 10:30 p.m. Saturday to the ATV crash on Olive Street near Ohio Avenue.

Reports indicate William Lipscomb, 33, of McDonald, was riding the ATV eastbound on Olive Street when he hit a road closed sign and was thrown from the vehicle.

Lipscomb was pronounced dead at the scene by the Trumbull County Coroner’s Office.
